The Russian government has extended the ban on gasoline exports until the end of 2024, as announced on its official Telegram channel. The measure aims to stabilize the domestic fuel market amid ongoing seasonal demand and planned maintenance at oil refineries. The export ban does not apply to shipments under international agreements, including those with EAEU member states, or for international humanitarian aid. Individuals are also allowed to export fuel for personal use. As of August 9, Russia’s Ministry of Energy reported sufficient gasoline reserves, totaling 2.03 million tons, to meet domestic demand.
